Bad Jazz is an eclectic improvisational trio based in San Francisco. Using invented instruments, electronic toys, percussion and piano they create roughly rendered sonic landscapes. Slowly evolving minimalist passages that peak with bristly spasms of noise. Bad Jazz is on tour from San Francisco to Vancouver for the release of their new album, ‘Bad Dreams in the Night’ on Eh? records.
For this session we will be performing a score based on a collage of infrared photographs by photographer Holly Wilson while on the road in Oregon.
