Paul Hoskin and Mark Ostrowski. Baritone Saxophone and Drums.Paul and Mark use a duo setting to disassemble conventional jazz form to say nothing of other idiomatic language form. All ranges (dynamics, phraseology, colors, timbres) shall be investigated in modes that have yet to be explored. We have been playing together (and with others) for several years. Met in Astoria, Oregon (where Paul was living at the time) seven + years ago. Paul’s relocation to Seattle (2009) furthered our sonic explorations.
After the duo session, we shall arrange open sessions for all that are interested/devoted. Not with us, with all of you. We truly welcome and look forward.
